Singer/songwriter, GWEN COVINGTON began her professional recording career in 1990 as background vocalist with Minister Randy Cotton & Nissi, a gospel music group organized in Miami, Florida.  While working with Minister Cotton, she appeared on Bobby Jones Gospel International TV program; and experienced concert performances with Evangelist Dorothy Norwood, Richard Smallwood & Smallwood Singers, and The Grace Thrillers of Jamaica, comedian/activist Dick Gregory, actor Danny Glover, Tremaine Hawkins, Revelation S.E.E.D., and Ricky Dillard. Gwen recently appeared as a solo artist performer on Afrotainment TV/DISH Network-A PLUG Program; and has performed at various faith-based projects and major events including 104th NAACP National Annual Convention (2013).  Her popular writing credits include God's Love Is Just Like That, You Are Why We Worship, and Faith (co-writer).
